Has to put up with me! I usually rule the remote because I'm selfish so I figured tonight we would watch a movie of his choice. He chose the Departed, which I knew nothing about. I was half paying attention until I saw someone's skull being beaten in.
I CANNOT deal with violence and made him turn it off.
Is anyone else as crazy as me?

I really do...I just can't take violence. My sister is the same way and we were at a bar playing 'Kill Bill' and had to leave because it upset us so much.

I think it was worse because I didn't really know what it was about...and then all of a sudden, people were being attacked with sticks and shoved through plate glass...
I am also the type of person who cannot watching commercials for horror movies because they give me nightmares.

you are NOT insane!!! Everyone has a threshold level for that kind of stufff...you cant tolerate seeing it...i know a ton of friends like that!!!!
Fh loves all the gore so ive gotten immuned to seeing it...I just cant see a knife slice someone...even in surgery...
gives me the willies!

FH & I are opposite!!! I can watch all surgeries on TV... h el l...I've seen so many I can probably perform them!!! EXCEPT EYE SURGERY.............I've actually passed out watching TLC when they have those shows on!!!

Surgery on TV grosses me out..but probably the worst if FH's reading materials. He's a doctor, so sometimes we'll be reading in bed and I'll glance over and see a disgusting infected wound or skin infection in the journal he's reading. It makes me want to vomit.
