i had work at 7am today... woke up at 5:30 to start shoveling out my car and he woke up with me... turns out they didn't even plow in our complex till about 6... we went out there and he was fighting with me the whole time that i shouldn't go into work and that my death isn't worth the money and blah blah blah (he's so dramatic lol) and after over an hour of us shoveling out my car and arguing and being late for work (even though i spoke to someone around 6 and they said to take my time), my car couldnt get out anyway... the wheels just kept spinning... it was on a complete sheet of ice and was just NOT getting out of the space. so we did all of that work for nothing and woke up early for nothing.. especially fh, since this is his day off... i feel so bad but he's happy i'm not going in. lol.
I don't think anyone should have to work today ...

Awww, FH is so sweet though to help you out like that. My complex is the same way right now. In the past they've always come through with the snowblowers during the storm and stay on top of plowing. This morning nothing is done. Not sure what that's all about. Not cool!

yeah, exactly... the snow just keeps coming!! and news12 says that where i am on the island is where we got hit the worst.. 24 inches.. ugh fml

Aww--that was very sweet of your FH. It's better that your car wasn't able to get out. I'm watching the news and they just keep showing all of the accidents and the cars that are stuck. I feel like I'm going to be stuck in my house for days. I can't even open my front door!
