Last night I slammed his finger in the car door and it really hurt him - now his finger is numb. He keeps complaining and he never complains . I hope it's okay ...

Just have him get it checked out. If it's broken there's not that much they can do. They will just reset it, which isn't pleasant, and give him a splint. My FH was once walking my dog and came in and said he tripped over her leash and fell and he thinks he broke his finger. I told him to stop being a baby and go to bed! When we woke up in the morning and I saw it, I felt so bad. I called in sick and took him to the doctor, so I know how you feel.

Hope it's OK! One time .....a long time ago, I snapped my finger against my leg the wrong way. It really hurt. It turned purple and was hard to move. I don't know maybe I just ruptured a blood vessel or something. But, I never it got it looked at and it healed fine by itself......but I agree have him have it checked out.

Must be the time for FH's to get hurt...Mine got hit hard in the face with a softball last night at his game, busted his lips open, needs freaking plastic surgery to repair
Tell your FI to go to the Dr...will hurt more if it needs to be fixed later down the road!

Have him go to the doctor. They will probably rebreak it, and put it in a splint. I've broken my fingers a couple of times. It will hurt more if he doesn't go to the doctor. Good luck.

This happened to FH a couple of weeks ago. We were coming home from an evening out w/ friends and all of us were so tired and one of my friends sitting in the back seat behind FH closed her door and we started walking across the street and then we hear, OW OW OW OW in a really calm voice and see him standing there w/ his middle finger stuck in the car door. She felt so bad but after about a week it healed by itself

It must be hurt the FH week or something!
Mine just called me and said that he is taking the day off -- and going to the dentist. Apparently he needs emergency root canal. Poor guy!!

Ouch!!
Thanks girls - its helps FH to know he isnt the only one being beat up! It's starting to feel better today anyway

That's nothing girls, I once set my FH on fire making breakfast one morning! Thank god I put him out pretty fast I swear it was an accident but he's still afraid to approach me while I'm at the stove

Wow, I'm glad he is okay, but that is one of the funnies thing I have read here lately.
