Poor Florida
My SIL just called. Her house sustained some damage but is still standing. But now she is not sure whether or not she will be able to be up here for her parents 50th anniversary. It seems there is another hurricane heading directly for her AGAIN.
The statement the news was saying was the first one was a warning, Frances was practice and this one will be the real thing and really bad![]()
This is just awful. I don't remember it ever being this bad before. She was telling me that her house, which is fairly new construction was swaying so bad in the wind that they were all huddled in the hallway during the storm and that the shutters were even torn off.
I just feel so awful for her. She was making reference to Andrew and I told her not to think like that. I just wish she and all of both our families down there would freaking leave already.
