Poor Mrs. Reagan

Poor Mrs. Reagan

I am watching the service in California and my heart just goes out to her - she looks so frail yet she has handled everything so wonderfully this whole week - I don't know how she is doing it. I remember sitting in first grade watching the first Reagan inaugaral ceremony on TV.

It has been such a long day...But i think i am happy for her that all these people are there for her now...What happens when this is all over...she is alone...

I am bawling my eyes out for a man with whom I shared absolutely nothing, including political beliefs. She has yet to shed a tear...she's either in shock, sedated, or both. Poor, poor woman. It wouldn't surprise me to hear in the near future that she decided it was time to join her husband and her poor heart just gave out.

Jann - that's exactly what I'm thinking - that this poor woman is going to die of a broken heart...

What else is going on? You hanging in there? I'm hanging by a thread and I still have 7 weeks to go!!

I'm an emotional basket case (see my thread on BHB) and this is just not helping! I'm at 34 days and I have no idea what I'm doing anymore!

You know what though - it's a relief to be getting upset about something besides the wedding planning!! I'm at 50 days - my friend!!
I can't watch this anymore - it's sooo sad.

I can't watch it anymore, but I can't not watch this piece of history. FH is at his bachelor party right now, and I need to be doing something!

This is so sad, I'm still watching, it is a piece of history and I feel like I should watch it. Poor Nancy

Re: Poor Mrs. Reagan

I agree - it is so painful to watch - but it is history taking place in front of our eyes and it is important. Damn girl - why aren't you out with the girls??? I have a TON of laundry to fold if you're THAT bored!!!
That's exactly why I told FH that our parties had to be on the same night - no way was I sitting home when he was out at his bachelor party going crazy!

He's home all the time now since he can't work. I need this time to myself here! Sometimes, I just want to come home and not have to be with anyone. Today's a good day for that.
