she called today to tell me she and her DH are separating i'm so sad b/c we were just there teh other day and they seem to be so good together. hes moving to FL in a couple of weeks. no plans of divorce YET i feel so bad. i didnt know what to say b/c i was so in shock.

oh no! for her. it is one of those hard situatios too because you are so happy as a newlywed and you dotn know what to say to her....or at least that is how i would be

yeah. its just sad. they both just retired (at young ages) and just got another dog. they could have so much fun & be so happy together at this time, but hes just very unhappy and doesnt know what to do with his life. i guess its been going on for a while. she wants to make it work though. they dont hate each other. she said the balls in his court. i guess hes just got issues to deal with.

Sent her way....boy oh boy...this is a tough one. I wouldn't know what to say to her either...but just giving her the support she needs right now is probably the best thing you can do. It's so sad. I hope all works out okay...things always work out for the best and you have to think of it that way.
