Popcorn instead of Petals?!

Has anyone ever heard of/seen popcorn being thrown after the ceremony instead of rose petals?

I have never heard of it, but it sounds fun - for the right kind of informal reception! It all depend on what you are going for.
If you like it - go for it - there are no rules...

I think it woudl be Cute BUT... if i'ts OUTSIDE, make sure that birds/piegons don't CHOKE on it... That's why they stopped using traditional 'rice' most of the time and replaced it with Bird seed...

never heard of it, and I doubt any place would even allow it, as stepping on it would create a huge mess.

Yeah I'm not a fan either... isnt popcorn greasy?? It might stain your dress!!! Plus if it is outside It's not safe for the birds.

Hummm deffinitly natural, no flavor or anything, popcorn if you go with the idea. But I would worry about the mess/environmental hazards of it. Look into though, if you like the idea.
