Porn icons on my desktop--Im going to pull my hair out
I never get pop ups ever. Out of the clear blue over the vacation, two porn icons appeared on my desk top. I send to the recycle bin, the reappear every time I reboot the computer.
I have run THREE SEPARATE computer 'clean up' programs and the two porn icons have survived all three. This porn site is popping up every few minutes, even when Im not online.
I have a super old computer and can not get AOL 9.0 yet.
Any tecchies have any good 'clean out the porn' websites?

Ugh - that sucks Amy. I don't have any advice, sorry - I just wanted to commiserate!

Update your virus definitions and run a virus scan...it's either a virus or spyware. If you dont' have it, download spyware and adaware in order to try and get rid of them. Good luck!

ok amy........here is what you do goto this web site check it will tell you what you have and how to fix it.......if this does not help then fm me and i will try other ways to help
