PORT JEFF Festival This weekend...


If anyone is looking for something to do this weekend, theres the festival at Port Jeff, SAT 11-9 and Sunday 11-5. Bring a jacket ! Its chilly willy!

Their annual maritime festival. Ive never been to it, so I dont know much about it. we were going to go last year and it was cancelled. We happened to see signs for it as we were in the area recently...
Im sure some LI websites should have info on it.

I went, very dissapointed. We got there at 7pm on Saturday (and it was running til 9pm). well there were just a few tables set up by the water, with crafts, bracelets, etc. and there were several tables that were being taken down already. and there was a band playing on the stage there with a few people watching. Other than that, it was the old usual port jeff, nothing different that would have made you think there was a festival going on.
We still had a fun evening, walked around, it was a nice evening. Maybe we missed the main parts of the festival during the day ?
