Port Jefferson Station....

Does anyone live there?
Did anyone gone to school there?
Our realtor contacted us on a house there and we never even considered this town so don't know much....

ANY FEEDBACK??

I grew up there and graduated from Comsewogue HS. I graduated HS in 1994 and my parents have since moved so I havent really been back to the area for a real visit in years.

The HS was fine...about 200 students to each grade...made be different now. I did really well and went to SUNY Binghamton so I guess they did something right. I lived in a colonial on Lincoln Ave...that is behind a shopping center with Carnival Restaurant. The neighborhood there is nice...as is many of the areas...I think there are some that have turned a bit though. What I can say is that you get a lot for your money there...at least more than in some of the towns in nassau...

I have lived in PJS my whole life, and still do! There is one area that isn't the greatest, but the rest is nice! And the school district is pretty good! Do you know what street the house is on? I could let you know how that area is.

I have lived here for the past 3 years. I love it! FH has lived here for about 10 years.

i just saw this post and we are moving there this spinrg - we are redoing fh's dad's hgoise to make it a 2 family..i have mixed emotions due to other reasons but think the area is great - good school district - fh grew up there and as those who live there will attest, it is very closeknit - you will alwyas know someone - we can never just run to 711 or the gas station - you always wind up in a conversation with them!
