I picked these earrings up for only $18 at Macy's today. The pearls are whiter than they appear in this picture, and both my dress and the flower girl dresses have pearls on them.
What do you think? Should I be spending more on my earrings? They weren't too heavy, and they seem as good quality as other more expensive costume jewelry I have seen?
I plan to wear part of my hair pulled back from face, the rest down and wavy.
I wouldn't let the price of them dissuade you from wearing them! If you like the way they look and they match your vision for everything, go for it!

I don't think you should base it on price, it doesn't matter how much or how little you spend, just if you like them.

Thanks. I'm just afraid to look cheap, we are spending all this money for that day, I don't want to look cheap. Like, I found a great makeup artist for $80 (including trial), but now I am getting nervous, because of people like MIA, etc., maybe I should spend the extra money, you know?

I honestly don't believe there's such a thing as 'being cheap' on your wedding day. I think it's being reasonable. If you are happy with everything, don't worry about the money it's costing (or NOT costing!) and just celebrate and have fun!
You'll find enough places to spend your money... be proud and happy you're having such success during this process of planning!

I didn't care how much was spent on my jewelry, I just wanted it to be what I wanted, and wanted it to look nice. If it was $10 or $100 you know?
If it's what YOU want, then go for it. I purchased a pearl bracelet from someone on this website for $50 for one of my BM's. It looked more expensive than that! It was gorgeous.
I definitely agree with a PP , and don't let the a low price stop you from buying something you really like!

Those earrings look nice and will bring the pearl detailing out from your dress! You should stick with them.

yeah I wouldn't worry about price. just what they look like and how you feel when you have them on!
I was actually happy when I found cheaper things/vendors/etc so when I found ones I liked that were more I felt I could splurge there. . I don't think you should settle but if it doesn't feel like settling, its GREAT you found things cheaper!!

They are absolutely beautiful! And I would not worry about them looking or seeming 'cheap' because A) they don't look cheap at all and B) no one has to know how much they cost if you don't want them to!
