possible Honeymoon location: France

Anyone else planning a France honeymoon? Or know someone who has gone for theirs? I would love some advice!

the french dont wear deodorant and hate americans.

luckily its beautiful and they have amazing food and BAGUETTES there.

i'm being a smartass btw ... i'd love to go there.

We went to the French Riviera last September, and it was gorgeous. We stayed at Le Parker Meridian in Nice, and did some day trips to the surrounding areas (Ville Frenche, Monaco, Monte Carlo). We then went to Italy for a few days. I would definitely recommend it for a HM trip.

I went to Paris a year ago and had a wonderful time. I thought it was beautiful filled with culture and history.... I had NO problems with people not liking me or not being helpful etc...Just the opposite as we got lost on the metro and I had men and women flock over when I looked lost... I think the key to traveling there is remember they don't have to speak English it is their country...They appreciate it if you say hello, thank you, please in French and they see you are trying and are so they speak English. I can't wait to return.....I have another list of places to see when I go back as a week wasn't long enough... I would LOVE to go to the countryside and travel around that way.... Read 'A Year in Provence' by Peter Maile. It is so hysterical.
