Possible Invites (Asian Inspired)

Im leaning towards #1 but #2 was my first choice and #3 is just odd but interesting hehe

#1 – That symbol means “Marriage”
#2 – It says “A match made in Heaven”
#3 – Says “Wedding Invitation”

(or so Im told)

i like certain elements of all three but would replace 'wedding invitation' with your names. what do the characters/symbols represent?

is that a heart around the chinese characters, or is that part of the symbol?
( sorry-dumb question)
I'm just not a big fan of hearts, but other than that I like it better than #3.

Way outside by Budget but I blame Jim. These will all come in English & Chinese (since Jim already told his grandmother we'd do that) at 'no extra cost' though I find that an oxymoron when you see the base cost anyhow!

hmm, yeah, it kinda looks broken, but not really.
The second one looks very stylized, and to me, knowign nothing of chinses, it almost looks like fake lettering.

But the Chinese relatives will knwo its not. So, I guess between 1 & 2, I'd pick 1.

well it is the complete set.. rsvp cards, envelope blah blah blah for each invite.

Besides we figure it's worth it if this is what we end up going for. We've been hitting this site off and on for months. Just never ordered the samples. We keep looking at their cards. 5 pages of them. We wanted asian but modern and we definately wanted red.

I really like #1. It looks to me like 2 sides of a heart that are about to unite...like you and you FH will through marriage.

definitely #1!

#2 would be my second choice, but only if you could (like september2004 said) replace the words 'wedding invitation' with your names or at least something else

I like #1 and #2 best but voted for #2. I like what it says more than #1.... if I got an invite that just said 'marriage' on the front (no matter how pretty the lettering was) I would think it a little odd...

Plus, #2 is different -- different shape, style, everything. I didn't like #3 b/c it looks menu-ish to me!

Good luck they are really nice -- tough call!

I checked out the site, they have some really nice invites...I was thinking of an asian theme...neither I nor FI are asian but we love the culture and all things related...

I think in the end either of the three invites will work, they are truly beautiful!

Let us know which is the winner in the end ok???

Im not asian but my hubby is.
We arent going completely asian but mostly Asian Inspired. If you want ANY ideas. Ask.. Im not wearing the red dress, but our cake will be red velvet and red icing and our centerpieces are chinese etched glass iron lanterns which will have lucky bamboo placed around it and a candle inside. OBVIOUSLY our colors are red and gold. Favors are chopsticks in sleeves and we plan to get a 'double happiness' stamp to put on the corner of each place card, Chinese astrology for table names instead of numbers (Year of the Horse, Dragon, Tiger, etc)
