Possible Nor Easter on Thursday..

Well It was nice out. I KNOW I KNOW its Winter.

that would be sooooo awesome!!! sorry, but i'm dying to take a snow day, even if the mayor is not giving them out, i want to take one!!!

Wanna know why? 'Cause Saturday is my birthday.

Every single year since I was born, there has been snow on my birthday. In 1991, there was an unusually warm week - I think we even hit 50 degrees.... but sure enough, I woke up on my birthday to a couple inches of snow on the ground.

I was born in the blizzard of 83! My mom was stranded at the hospital with nurses that had been on shift for 3 days... ouch! Poor ladies!

Ohhh nooo..I am leaving for FLorida on Thursday..pray for no snow!!

Noooooooo!!!! I'm off on FRIDAY!!! I want to be able to ENJOY my free day off!!!

Hi Kristin ... It snows in winter ... and it's still winter in February. Okay?

All I can say is that if that happens NYC SCHOOLS BETTER BE CLOSED! I can't afford to take a sick day...I was out today due to a sinus infection!

FORECAST:
Today is the last of the beautiful weather days with conditions similar to the weekend. Tomorrow will start out nice but clouds will increase by later in the day as a weak front pushes eastward. There could be some sprinkles or a shower later in the day. Temperatures will slowly cool off Wednesday under mostly cloudy skies. More organized rain will develop later Wednesday into Wednesday evening as low pressure develops to our SW. The storm will slide south of us to the Mid-Atlantic coast and begin to intensify Wednesday night. As it does cold air will accelerate southward. As the storm slides NE the rain will gradually change to snow from NW to SE. Thursday will be colder and breezy with some lingering snow the first half of the day. The snow will hang around longer to the north and east of the City. Some accumulation is possible especially in those areas. Friday looks breezy and cold with the sun returning.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

Snow Day!!!!! That would be AWESOME! When you were a kid, or if your a teacher now, how many of you wear or wore your PJs inside out and backwards in hopes of a snow day?? I remember doing that. Sometimes it really worked.
We can also continue the snow dance
