Possible vendor who we will NOT be using because ...
... they called us at 10:15 last night!!! ![]()
FH and I were just getting into bed to watch the remainder of the Mets game. Mind you, I work in the city and he has to be at work in Queens at 7:30, so we usually are asleep by 11:00. I've been sick the past week and so have been going to bed a bit earlier (try 9:45 on Monday night![]()

Anyway, we're relaxing and drifting in and out of sleep when his phone rings. Immediately we think it's something wrong, maybe his mother calling us or someone in the hospital, because our friends and family know not to call that late.
But NO, it was a potential vendor who we had contacted earlier this week! They are a vendor on here and goodness forbid there is ever a bad thing said about an LIW vendor, so I won't use names ... but if you are out there ... just know you LOST our business and anyone else who asks us about you as well. How rude and unprofessional! We still cannot believe it.
Has anything like this happened to any of you? Vendors calling at TOTALLY inappropriate times? (On a WEEKNIGHT no less?)
