Possible Wedding site?
After doing a bit of online research, I came upon Ariana Waterfalls. It seems like a popular venue but any brides willing to tell me more about their experience? I recently moved from NYC (the bx) to FL last year. My husband to be is currently in NY, and I will be moving back once I get married. We were going to forgo the whole wedding reception idea (we didn't want to burden our parents with the costs) and just have a civil ceremony but when I stumbled upon Ariana, I fell in love with the pictures (and the package deal). My parents and his seem enthused by the deal on their website.
Unfortunately, I'll be doing most of my planning from FL with visits to NY. I won't be able to see the venue till February and perhaps put a deposit down until March (our parents are paying). We are aiming for November 2008 (short time, I know!). The husband to be plans on visiting Ariana before I do. Is there a checklist or a set of questions I should be asking seeing as how everything is included? Most websites give questionnaires specific to certain types of vendors.. I just don't want to be scammed out of my big day.. Or perhaps a few questions my fiance should be asking prior to me visiting?
I've searched the boards in regards to other places that offer package deals but no ballpark figures listed on their websites other than Mediterranean Manor & Ariana Waterfalls. Can anyone give me a ball park figure of other package deals similar to Ariana Waterfalls.
