possibly moving back to LI

Looking for opinions on locations.
My hubby will be workingin the city.... I think we are looking in around Roslyn, Port Wash, Great Neck, Manhasset....any advice? Communities we should look at? We are lloking for areas with young couples and families. We don't have kids yet...but will in the next couple years. Als...how are the schools??? I haven't actually lived in LI since HS.

All of the towns you have listed are very nice and all have good school districts....One other good thing is short commute to the city for hubby....Not sure how much you are looking to spend but the nassau prices are up there so most likely you are looking at high $500's to find a nice house...

I have lived on LI all my life so any question, be happy to help...

Not sure about the other towns you mention but, you won't find anything in Manhasset in the $500,000s. I think the lowest you'll find is $700,000+ and you'll be shocked for the little you get for under a million. I just can't believe it!
