When the RB walks down the aisle, who does he give the rings to? the groom?

Its rare for the RB to actually have the rings... the Best Man usually holds them... i wouldnt trust my 5 year old RB with our rings...

i was told the RB does NOT carry the rings, the Best Man has them and to put fake rings on the pillow.
im curious too because i see why someone would tell me that, but i highly doubt something would happen with 100s of people watching.

Yea I heard there is either fake rings on the pillow or nothing. The BM has them.
*I just looked and my pillow has to silver rings attached to the bow.

at my sisters wedding the best man lost my sisters wedding band in their limo... they took the limo apart and still couldnt find it... things definitely happen

The RB usually doesn't hold the rings, just a pillow. The Best Man usually has them.

the ring bearer wil walk down holding a pillow with fake rings, and then we'll have him sit with his mom. The BM will hold our real rings.

My nephew really wanted to hold our rings & I didn't have the heart to say no. So what I did was, gave the real rings to the Best Man & put two gold band rings onto the pillow. (they where my grandmothers) After walking down the aisle he gave the entire pillow to the best man. Then after the ceremony was over we took the gold band rings off the pillow & DH put those on my right hand.
