post holiday weekend QOTD!

How do you think you'll feel about going to weddings after you're married? I mean, do you think you'll be sad, or still as excited to be a guest even though you'll already be married yourself?

ETA: I'LL NEVER BE GOING UP TO CATCH THE BOUQUET AGAIN! YAY!

I admittedly will be a little jealous to know that some of my friends get to be brides and I'll be past that point. BUT I won't be jealous of their pre-wedding STRESS! And in my heart, I know that our wedding won't be a million dollar extravaganza like some brides', everything about it will be perfect for FH and myself.

Good question!!! I think I'll be more excited... knowing exactly what goes into all of the wedding planning process and how detail oriented we all get, I will really make sure to pay attention to everything (I wish I had at weddings I've been to in the past!). I can definitely say I will appreciate the little things more!

Plus, I'll be a wife and not a lonely unengaged single girl :)

hmmmmmm......

I think I'll be fine with it and it will make me remember all the fun and stress of planning my own.

I'm sure it'll be a lot better than going to weddings where I was the LAST single person! I had gotten so tired of writing '1' in the number attending spot..........

I think I'll be more excited! I'll have a different appreciation of what goes into planning a wedding and be able to experience it differently and just enjoy it.

I think I'll still love them-I'm sure I'll miss the planning and the moment, but I truly feel like it gets even better AFTER the wedding and there's so much more to look forward to.

I'll be sooooooooo happy to be going to weddings as a wife and not a 'someday wife' as I always felt in the past!!

FH and I actually have two weddings to go to this fall in NC and I couldn't be happier about it!

Last year I got a little drunk at a fellow LIWer's wedding and wrote this gushing long thing in her guest book about how happy I was for her and her DH and how I couldn't wait until they were at our wedding -- and we weren't engaged yet!

Good thing that worked out... lol

I think I will be happy still..... I like going to weddings to see what little details they included and fun stuff like that.

I have another wedding that I'm in, in november and another to attend next october and another but she hasn't set a date yet....I CANNOT wait....I love going to weddings!

See...i love GOINGGG to weddings
PLANNING ....i will not miss

I am loving planning my own, because Matt and I really did do everything together...so it has been an experience

but after it ..I will be happy to have the memories of an amazing happy day

and i will love going to others...eating, drinking, dancing, and not having to worry about any of it!!
OR WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY OF ANY OF IT LOL

I think I will be more excited to see what the bride did for her big day. I will probably appreciate it more too.

I will be a little sad, only because I know its never gonna be me up there again. But I definitly love being a guest too :o). Specially for good friends!

i think i will pay attention more..before i never care bout cps or fowers etc etc..now i will prob look and go oh thats so nice or i wonder who they used lol...but i think whenevr i go to a wedding now will smile a bit more remembering my own

I am happy to be a guest......I hated wedding planning.

I REALLY WANT TO BE A GUEST AT CLM.....so I can eat. I didnt get to eat at my wedding so anyone want to invite me.....

I actually like going to weddings, so I'll look forward to it. We have at least one immediately to go to, well, 6 months after ours...I think (they're invited to ours, so I'm going to assume the same) that might be OOT though, so I'm not clear. Either way, I love going to catered events, even association or church dinners or RHs, so I enjoy weddings. I wish I could go to another Villa wedding again too, we went to one, and ours will be there, but I'd really like to look with an eagle eye AFTER ours too. I'm going to a wedding next week, and I'm looking forward to it, even though I do still kind of have a bug up my butt about that whole situation but that's a whole other story for another day haha.
