post office attempt # 2

I went to a smaller post office branch in my hometown this morning. The lady that helped me suggested that I send the invitations as parcel instead of regular letter mail (larger slot). The postage as parcel is $1.39 each (that's the lowest amount for parcel...the actual envelope does not weigh anything..it's the bow that gets in the way) She also said she would hand cancel them. Anyway, the only problem is that they wouldnt be able to do all 100+ at a time... would it be tacky to hand deliver some of them? hmmmm

I'm going to wait and see how sample # 2 arrives...hopefully it wont be destroyed lol

They might do 50 at a time...just go there a couple times in the same week. Maybe do all of your OOT people first, then your local people in the next batch so people get them around the same time?

I was going to suggest the same thing. Even if you mailed them all the same day your guests would receive them at different times
