Post Office LOST Invites - anybody have probs?
Long 1 alert!! But I need help!!!
Girls.. So far we have been told my cousin, FH grandmother (which is a long story), a friend of FHs father has not received invitations. All invites were numbered as they were stuffed so we know we did them!
The 2 biggies...(so far)
OK, so my cousin who has drifted apart from the family a little bit was crying thinking she was not invited. I called and cleared it up no big deal and she will get another. She got the invite to the bridal shower so I she pieced it together that somethign may have happened
FH grandmother, who he is NOT close with at all and barely seen in his 30 years got insulted and now supposably his Aunt, Uncle and Cousin are not coming either because they did not ask if there was a problem before flying off the handle and cursed FH like the devil himself. FH got insulted with their comments and refuses to call because they reacted as if he was some monster. Like I said, this is a long story.
Oh and 2 were sent back which 1 of them was my fault and the other everything was right but not delivered!
We are going nuts now. What should we do? Do we need to call people? We gave until May 4th to RSVP so we cannot expect too many replies (although we did get a bunch). But we are nervous. Some people can be very sensitive about this stuff. Has this happened to anybody?
At the post office, the weighed all the envelopes again and checked the postage so why did heck did this happen. STRESS!!!!!!
