Post pics of BM make-up

My BM's all 'dropped out' and can't afford to have their hair and make-up done. I am thinkinga bout paying for their make-up but am not sure if it is worth or whether they can do it themselves. Does having make-up professionally done, does it really make a big difference in pics? pls. post pics of bridal party with and without make-up professionally done.

I was just a BM last night and had airbrush makeup done for $65... it stayed on all day and looked great. I got a lot of compliments on it. I do my makeup everyday and it's average looking... this definitley looked professional done

No, it doesn't make a difference in the pictures. Only 1 BM out of 3 in my wedding had her makeup done. The other girls did their own makeup which came out fine. Actually one of my BM hardly wears any makeup and she came out great in the pics. They all look beautiful in the pictures.

I was in a wedding last year and didn't have my makeup done. I didn't feel like paying $70 for it so I did my own and it came out fine.

I wouldn't pay for your BM makeup, not worth it.

I agree....your bridesmaids dont have to have their make up done....the most important person should be you....dont worry about the other girls...

totally agree w/the above posters!!!! the bridesmaids dont have to get their makeup done. in fact, all of my bridesmaids prefered to do their own makeup. i'm just hiring someone to do their hair.

Your BM don't need to have their MU professionally done. Save your $$$.

It is very hard for a MU artist to do everyone correctly. Everyone tends to look the same. JMO

im sure they will make an effort to look beautiful that day, so i would not pay for their makeup - i would rather my bms all have their hair done

I agree.. just worry about yourself. My MOH is doing her own makeup, she does not like the way other people do her makeup, she has been in other wedding parties and has done her own makeup, very natural looking.
She looked great in pics, etc. IMO just worry about their hair, ex. if they want an updo or something special.

I don't know- I guess it could make a difference.

I'll post some pics- me and my mom had ours done.

The next is me and my neice. I had hers done, really only to keep her occupied, so it doesn't look like anything was done because she was only 11 and I didn't want her to look silly.

The first BM did her own BUT, her lipstick was too light, so I asked the makeup guy to do her lips and he did it without charging.

Next is a shot of the girls with DH. The first one on the left did hers entirely on her own. She kind of looks washed out on the video.

i dont think bm makeup is neccesary .....im sure everyone knows how to do their own makeup of course it wont look profesional but i wouldnt worry about it.....maybe there is one BM who is better than the others and could help them out with their makeup.....good luck!
