anyone who picked their bridesmaids dresses yet or who have some ideas, can you post pictures?? i am so confused with what to pick. i want everyone to be comfortable but they keep e-mailing me sun dresses.

Okay here are the dresses I think I may use. They won't be in black, I think possibly an amethyst/lilac color.
i told my sister (MOH) that she could pick whatever as long as her & the other bridesmaids are comfortable. these are the pictures they sent me this morning.
i expect people who are guests to wear these type of dresses. not the bridal party
Even though they aren't traditional dresses, they will look uniform if everyone wears them. I think they will look nice, especially the first one. I told my girls to pick out whatever dresses they wantd at David's Bridal. As long as they are the same color (latte) I thik they will still look uniform. I just want them all to be comfy in their dresses. I would hate it if I had to wear a horrible dress, so far I haven't had that prob YET!!! Good luck!

Are your colors going to be black? My FH's cousin is doing black dresses, and the only problem I find is that many people who attend weddings wear black dresses as well. So, it is hard to identify the bridal party. Maybe you could have them wear long dresses that are the same, or short dresses. But, I think it would be better for them to be the same so that at least they are more identifiable. JMO.

they picked a bunch from davids bridal too. i can't save the pics but those are even worse. they look like dresses my 5 year old niece wears.

they are all going to wear the same dress. those where different styles they picked.

Awwwww, maybe you can pick a number of styles that you like and then they can choose from those. I already told my girls they can have whatever they wanted. If they pick out crappy dresses thats their prob, all I care about is the color. LOL

I have to say I agree... this dont seem too bridesmaid-y
BUT you did say they could pick what they like. Why not give them a designer (i love alfred angelo) and tell them to pick anything in (whatever your color is)

I havent gotten that far yet but I am also letting them pick out what they want to wear I will just have one maybe 2 colors they they will HAVE to go by. Can't wait to go dress shopping!
