Post-reception
What is everyone doing about changing clothes after the reception? My reception is over at 11pm and we will be traveling to NYC to stay for three nights and I was just wondering if people are bringing their stuff to the reception and changing or what?

Re: Post-reception
Our out of town guests are staying in a hotel near the Milleridge and we are going to go back there after the reception which is over at midnight to keep the party going. Then we are off to the airport at 4:00am to catch our 6:15 flight (yikes I am going to be tired) I am keeping my dress on till we are ready to leave for the airport then my MOH will take it home!

Re: Post-reception
I say wear it to breakfast the next morning! Its too pretty to wear one night only. I like the idea of sitting around with some friends in our dresses a la Rachel, Monica and Phoebe

Re: Post-reception
I am wearing my gown as long as I can that day. But the next morning I will wear something else
If I were you I would stay in my gown. the hotels are nicer to brides and sometimes upgrade you or send you free champagne.

I love the idea of just staying in my gown, but I'm afraid of leaving it in the hotel room for three nights in NY....hmmm

I doubt anyone will steal it. Honestly. It will be a pain to luge back and forth though.

Re: Post-reception
Our reception is over at 1am so my FH and I and all of our wedding party and pretty much our family and friends will be staying at a hotel 3minutes away from reception. The hotel has a club in it so we will take the party onto there with all our dresses and tuxes still on. The following morning we will all do brunch together, our flight doesn't leave til the next day. It should be fun!!

Re: Post-reception
I agree that lugging it back and forth will be a pain...plus we will be heading back to Dallas right away after that...guess I will just change after the reception and let my mom take my dress and deal with the cleaning, etc...Welcome New Vendors
