post-wedding disappointment...

So, DH and I attended our first family party since our wedding. (It was his side of the family.) It was an e-party for his cousin, who is getting married on November 7 of this year.

Anyway, NOT ONE PERSON even mentioned our wedding...2 people asked where we went on our honeymoon, but never even said anything after we responded.

(we've already seen my family since the wedding and they couldn't stop raving about our wedding)

So, I just wish that I would have been prepared for a lack of response...

I guess it's just me...I figured that they would at least say, 'hey, we had a nice time.'

I would think the same thing. Thanks for the heads up.

I am sure it was a beautiful wedding, I am sure they thought so too and just didn't say it!

Yeah I hear ya! I hardly got any response from family at all. It is just the way they are. However our friends still say it was a great wedding!

the same thing happened to me. a very lil response from family and lots from friends
