I am having the hardest time finding invites I love. Can you please post your invites? I am looking for something that has red roses that is printed on an ivory/ecru cardstock...so if anyone sees anything like that, please share. Thanks much!
I got the paper from www.artpaper.com (Mugal Rose) and the vellum inserts from www.myinvitationstation.com. I'm also tying the vellum to the invite with a burgundy organza ribbon. You can also see/get them here:
You have no idea the ordeal the invites were...I told him to do it b/c I was just not into it--too many too look at, didn't really have much of an opinion, etc. Well, I am in US, FH is in UK and one would think that one would be able to find invitations in one of these two countries...and what does he do? Orders them from CANADA!!! He claims the British pound is really strong agains the Canadian dollar right now.
Anyway, invites had no interior envelopes, no reception cards and no addresses for either church or winery...We had agreed on the reception bit and he just wouldn't budge on the addresses, I didn't realize there wouldn't be interior envelopes till too late.
They've actually gone out now, and we've received many compliments on them. They were done in letter press, which FH insisted on, but they were to expensive for invitations IMO.
They're on cream colored, thick stock and I have to admit, they do look very nice...but, yeesh!!!
Ours are done in that style as well- Regular words in Lilith Font and our names in Bickham. I love that font!
