That mad hatter cake (is that what you call it), is amazing! Did you get it from JT? I would love a whimsical cake, who made it?
(and did it taste as good as it looks?)

yes it is the mad hatter cake, but no we didnt get it from JT we ended up getting it from Cakes by Jay.
Actually tasted better, it was one of the best ive tasted. We had 3 flavors, sourdough cake with chocolate truffles and raspberries, white cake with baileys cream and top of the cake was carrot
My cake was gnache, which is a smooth finish and tastes amazing. Its also cheaper than fondant.

Ok, we haven't even gotten to this step yet, but from watching food channel we know what we want. we think.
I just decided to look at some online and here are three I like
http://www.thecookduke.com/pics/wedding-cake-pictures-1.jpg ^ simple, sugar flowers (I don't like fresh flowers on the cake, just my opinion, it is beautiful, but not for me)
http://www.blisstree.com/sheknowsparties/files/2008/09/img-3791.jpg ^ crazy cake, the colors are a little brighter then I'd like, but I like the style
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1391/942804262_9faadaeef8.jpg ^ I love love love this cake, but I'd take away one of the white tiers and make it green, like the second from the bottom.
