It is an A line dress. Is is perfect for me because I have a thin waist, but big hips!!!!!!!!! It hides it all!

I paid $890.00 (before tax) at Burtons in Mellville. I heard that you can haggle, but I tried and got turned down. The kady heard my mom say 'that's resonable' so I guess that's why we didn't get it.
Someone else here told then that their budget was $500.00 and she got a $100.00 off.
I have seen on other websites this dress going for about $1200.
I ordered mine in ivory because I am very pale and white on white did not look so well!
Te dress comes with a shawl too and Burtons sells the matching veil (150.00). Just my preference.

thanks! thats very reasonable!!! i just dont think i will use the shawl- oh well- do u know their hours- i was thinking about going there on wednesday- i have to see if one of my bridesmaids are available to go with me. i hate to go by myself even though i went to lillettes by myself but it was fun.

Their hours stink on weekdays! They are closed on Mondays and they close at 6 on other days You must call for an app. I wish I had my BM theirs too. I couldn't decide. Even now, I see so many wondeful dresses and I question if I made the right choice!
Too many pretty choices out there. You went by yourself???? Awww! Try to take someone on a Saturday then. You will need the advice when you can't make up your mind!
thats very pretty!!!! yeah i know i should bring someone- its so hard with everones schedules- how was the service at burtons- where is wedding world? i want a salon that i can get a dress there & have alterations done there also

The service was really good. Jus tcome in with some ideas. Don't get thrown off by the atmosphere. My first impression was flea market.
I had a young girl named Samantha. Very, very helpful. I tipped her in the end, that' s how good she was.

i also got ivory for the same reasons, i didn't know there was a matching veil, which i still need, i am going to have to check this out thanks for the info,

i was the one who told them my budhget was $500 and they gave me $100 off.
