I was going to use it for both, I hope that is ok? I didnt know I should register for a formal and casual? Is that the normal thing to do?

I'm sure it's fine to use it for both...I don't think there's a rule...you should do whatever you like. It is pretty though to be used for formal as well..I just wanted to choose another set for formal to match the fine china, that will have some gold in it. But either way it's fine, it's your decision

is it bad that i have no idea what mine looks like??..my nana bought us the whole set as an engagement gift and i picked it up but when i look online none look familiar? anyway its from mikasa

my everyday..not sure yet FH bought me a GC for kohls and they always have the best silverware plan on getting it soon
