Ok..... I am sure a lot of your are in the position I am in..... going crazy trying to figure out who to use for hair and makeup! Especially when everyone seems to be booked!
I have spent too many hours on here searching names and trying to figure out if I like a vendors work...... so I thought it would be a good idea if we used this thread to post pics of trials we have (hair/make up) so us 09 girls have a reference.
SOOOOO let's keep this thread going!
I have no pics to contribute yet....certainly not my fault, everyone and their mother is booked for my date! But I am still searching....so as soon as I get some pics I will contribute!

are you dead set on having someone travel to you? Also, these aren't the only vendors...this website is so popular and we are all doingthe same thing so thats probably why the vendors on here are booked..why not checking out a local salon? Cheaper and the people are JUST as qualified

Yes, I am dead set on someone traveveling to me. You are right about that there are other vendors out there..... it is just so hard to go for a trial without seeing someones work. I live in Staten Island and I am like in between hair stylists right now.... plus Staten Island hair stylists think where they are and they charge an arm and a leg!!!! Keep in mind, I live in Staten Island but I am getting dressed at my Dad's in Queens... therefore, Staten Island people do not want to travel there anyway! I am just in between a rock and a hard place over here lol!

Her salon is in Queens and she does travel. I originally wanted her to do my hair but it was expensive for her to travel all the way out to me. I have a couple of pictures of my trial with her. Let me know if you want to see them

i live in staten island also - but I am getting married in LI and getting ready at the hotel out in LI - so i couldnt use anyone from SI either - I feel your pain!
I'm supposed to go on a trial with Maureen Pedala this weekend - if it goes well i'll post photos

Here's a photo of my hair and makeup trial with Elena of the Bridal Touch (LIW vendor). I booked her that day. (And yes, I asked for her to make it look like I had barely any makeup on )

Thank you! Yes, she airbrushed me. FH's aunt was so amazed by it. She said it was so smooth and natural looking.

M I A is already booked for my date but the more I see of her work, the more I am kicking myself in the you know what for not calling her sooner!!!! She gives everyone the look (dramatic makeup, flowing, romantic hair) that I am going for!!!
Anyone else have a style like her?
As for the two of you that are using her...... you both look stunning and are going to make beautiful brides!

Here is my hair and makeup:
hair is Roseanna Amador makeup is Jacqueline Nicole.
I wish I got them done the same day, but I didn't.
ALSO - My whole head will be highlighted on my wedding so there won't be the big difference there is in the trial. I wish I would have done that before.
