Post your wedding related stresses:

1. Make-up that doesn't make me look like a stripper, as my trial did on Saturday.

2. Shoes: I have three pairs, and can't decide if red is ridiculous..other choices...silver or ivory.

3. Reading: want my 11 year old nephew to read, and can't find anything appropriate.

4. Looking fat...a little too late to activate the gym membership I have had for 6 months and only used once in July. I have only myself to blame...

Any help would be appreciated...anyone else have any stresses?

Re: Post your wedding related stresses:

Everyone at work keeps telling me I look so calm, asking how am I so calm just days before my wedding???

I'm actually not stressing about the marriage, because FH and I have been together for over 3 years, and living together, so all of that's been sorted out already.

But in terms of the wedding itself:

--- everyone showing up ON TIME (it's Daylight Savings Time AND the NYC Marathon, meaning street closings)

--- FH still needs to get his ring resized, and this was a last-minute decision, so we're on a tight schedule now

--- vendors living up to promises and expectations

--- worried I'll trip over my own 2 feet walking down the aisle (bad leg + residual limp = unsure footing)

Re: Post your wedding related stresses:

1) There's a baptism in the church before my wedding, and Greek rituals run late, so I'm worried about starting on time (or even close to on time)

2) I'm in the process of re-organizing my apartment because that's where we'll be living after the wedding, yet most of my clothes, my stove and all of my essential papers are in the garage right now!

3) I've been trying to lose some weight, but all this stress is making me gain more weight

4) I have 3 part-time jobs on to of wedding planning, so this is a REALLY stressful time for me

5) Figuring out the seating chart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About my dress - I ordered it down a size and it fits - but I really feel like if I gain even a pound it won't

Pretty calm about everything else - I just want everyone to have a good time

- The Flowers!! The lady doing them didn't seem completely confident, being so close to Christmas - I'll be going back there Dec 1 for the downpayment & to make sure everything's on schedule.

- Forgetting something i need (i'm bad with that) like the Marriage License, rings, and even the small stuff like my slippers & stuff. That'll annoy me sooooo bad!

- Weather!!! FH and his bestman are flying in that week for the Wedding. So obviously no delays or cancellations

Re: Post your wedding related stresses:

Getting everyone to the ceremony. It's on a private island (in Florida) and we have to coordinate boat times and trolleys for all of our guests...and it's a huge stress factor.

Plus our ceremony musician had to cancel last night. He's very ill so I can't be angry...but I'm totally stressed now about finding another musician...

Oh...and I HATE being the center of attention. Totally freaks me out!!

Re: Post your wedding related stresses:

1. My dress won't be ready (seamstress has cancelled 5 appointments throughout the fitting process and cancelled one last night 10 days before the wedding)
2. FFIL went into the hospital early this morning to have surgery so he may not be there.
3. No one dancing.
4. Chaos the morning of (why do OOT guests think its appropriate to stay at the Brides house??)
5. Oh, and my hair. The woman who did my trial said she was going to take off some weight because the long curls I wanted would be too heavy. To her, take off some weight was 11 inches. Now, I have to go with a totally different look- and hair person for that matter.
