Halo by The Cure
We wanted to have 'High' by the Cure for our recessional music... but the guy who is singing can't sing it justly...
As of today (and this is subject to change...)
Bridal Party Entrance: 'Grow Old With You' (Adam Sandler song from The Wedding Singer) Bride Entrance 'Harvest Moon' Recessional 'This Kiss' by Faith Hill.
Our first dance is going to be 'Times Like These' by the Foo Fighters (sung by our friend) and we are having a special dance with our sons to 'Yellow' by Coldplay.
I will dance with a couple of 'stand in dad's' since my father has passed away. We will dance to 'To Where You Are' by Josh Groban.
Rob will Dance to 'Wonderful World' with his mom.
And our last song... 'Hit the Road Jack'

Re: Post your wedding Songs
we're getting married in a church but it's VERY laid back, so i want to see if they could do music through the speakers for some of the ceremony, as opposed to the organist. i'd like the BP to walk down the aisle to 'goin' to the chapel' and then me to canon in d. for the unity candle i want 'our prayer' by charlotte church and josh groban played. not sure about the recessional yet. as far as the reception... as of right now... BP walking into the 'faithfully' remix by judy torres and us to 'love of my life' by raina and lucas prada. our first dance: god blessed the broken road' by rascall flatts. 2nd dance, with family and BP party: 'at last' by etta james. what else do you need ideas for?

Re: Post your wedding Songs
I got married at the hall. Everyone except me walked in to Ave Maria I walked in to Pachelbel's Cannon.
Our first dance was to Barry White's 'The First, The Last, My Everything' It's kind of unique because it is not a slow dance. Everyone loved it. Really got the party started, and the lyrics are perfect.

I love the Jessica Simpson song. I think it is beautiful. I am leaning towards that for when I dance with my dad.

Re: Post your wedding Songs
I like canon in D (violin version) for the ceremony music, I wanted to get a quartet to play it...but they are soooooooooooooooo expensive. So, we will probably just use the cd I have of it ..
I think our first dance is going to be 'Grow old with you' from the wedding singer movie
