Post your yummy Lasagna recipes

I love Lasagna as does DH, so this Sunday I want to surprise him and make it.

Sorry, but I am not a gourmet by any means, but I am trying.

Ok here is my rec.

1 can Luigi Vitelli or Tutto rosso Tomato Puree
2 cloves garlic
minced onion (to taste)
salt
Pepper
olive oil

1 can of Ricotta
3 cups of shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated cheese

Ronzoni lasagna-Boil according to directions, but dont over boil, you want them soft but firm-al dente

in a saucepan, add olive oil (enough to cover the bottom), mince garlic cloves and onion and sautee until light golden brown, add puree, use empty can to add water (about 1 1/2 can) stir, add salt and pepper to taste, simmer.

in a mixing bowl add the cheeses and salt and pepper until mixed well.

in a deep baking pan, laddle out some sauce and cover pan, take 3 strips of the pasta and cover sauce, spoon cheese mixture over pasta and spread out, spoon out more sauce over cheese then add more pasta etc.

When you have laid out your last lasagna strip, sprinkle some grated cheese over top. Bake in a 375 oven for 25-30 mins .

You can also add chop meat or sausage (but cook it first) put it on after the cheese mixture

Thanks.

I made this on Sunday.

Question if you use Chopped meat should you season it prior to cooking?

a trick I learned was to alternate the direction of the noodles when layering. One row horizontal the next perpendiculat, horizontal, pererp, etc. I find it keeps it from fallnig aart when cooking. Also let it sit a few minutes before cutting.
