Am I the only one who had to put a 2 cent stamp along with the 55 cent on my envelope? :(

I too have put a 2 cent stamp on our envelopes! Tell you the truth...it didn't look that bad...and I haven't gotten ONE comment about the stamps! I guess only the brides look at things like that!! LOL heres to the 2 cent stamps!! LOL Good Luck Lisa

If you didn't put them on yet, you may want to consider two $0.34 stamps instead. It only cost me around an extra $12 and what's a measly $12 compared to what everything else costs for a wedding! It looks nice.

I did for some that went out late. It looks so ugly. It gets me mad that the Post Office knew about the rate raise for a lot longer than we did and they couldn't come up with a stamp for us!

And the 2 cent wasn`t self stick!:( *NM*

It would cost me an extra $34, and it's still two stamps cluttering up the envelope. But thanks for the idea :) (although 2 love stamps would look better than 1 love and 1 red headed woodpecker)

Postage .. I did a $0.60 instead

I choose the $0.60 (cent) stamp to avoid putting multiple stamps on my invites. It is so silly that they upped the price but did not have the stamps ready. I was annoyed at first but got over it when I found the 60 cent stamps.

I hate it. I am not buying my stamps until the very last minute. Unfortunately that last minute is Monday. I'm hoping they get the new stamps in by then.

Not a love stamp but a nice picture of some flowers and a mountain. It looked nice. I liked it better than the multiple stamps.

I think its ridiculous. These changes were made effective July 1st. Its not like it wasn't planned. They knew about this for months. And know the new stamps won't be out until September. What's a bride to do?

Not sweat the small stuff...

Brides are the only ones who notice. Really, no one except you will even notice, they'll be too excited opening the invitation to notice the birdie! ;]
