Re: Postage
Forever Stamp is you buy the stamp at the current price (say you get it now at 39 cents) - you can use that stamp forever - you will never have to tack on the 1 or 2 cent stamp to make up the difference.
I think you can buy as many 'forever stamps' as you want at the current rate the regular stamps are going for.
Not sure if you can get the stamp now or its coming out when they do the rate hike.

Re: Postage
The 'wedding ' 2oz stamp is now gonna be .58 instead of .63 and after the new .41 is in place that is when the forever stamp comes out. Also the postcard is going up .02 to .26. It's all supposed to take place may 3rd. HTH all you summer brides. I guess if your gonna have RSVP's coming back after may 3rd, you'd might have to put xtra postage on?

Re: Postage
This is fabulous! I am sending my invites out 4/6 and they are due back 5/24. I already bought the rsvp wedding stamps (39 cents). So what should I do? Stick a two cent stamp on the envelope too? Or just enclose a two cent stamp in the invite so if they need it its there? I obviously can't get the new stamps on time-I am so annoyed!

This is a HUGE help- thanks! I also needed to know how much the postcard postage was since my RSVPs are postcards. THANKS!!
Ugh this is a REAL pain though...we were going to assemble them the 1st week of April....and from what I understand the new stamps don't come out until the middle of the month (a month before the increase)
ETA: Oh wait- May 3rd now? I thought it was May 15...aye yi yi I'm confused!
