My boss weighted my invitation and said that i would cost .58 cents to mail. My sister and the rest of the fam said thats right. I am now told that because the invite is a square it will cost more money. The sad thing is I already purchased stamps online and they're here(my fiance picked out the picture!). Did anyone else have to pay more for a different shaped invite?? I know I can go to the post office tomorrow but I can't stop thinking of it. I hope maybe some of you have gone through this already.

Unfortunately their are new regulations with the post office. I would go there tomorrow and see what they say. Good Luck!

Re: Postage
I was nervous about mine too. Although they aren't shaped differently, ,but I weighed it twice at the post office.
I'm actually send my MOH hers to test it out for sure. I'm so paranoid.

Mine are .97 bc they are oversized...just go and make sure...better to do that then to get invites returned!

Re: Postage
Mine were 97 cents...and not even a pocketfold or anything. I was told they cost more because they were square.

Re: Postage
Take them to the post office and ask them to weight them...do not say they are wedding invites!!! I sent some of mine out at .39 and they got to where they needed to get to....but they told me .63 when I went in and weighed them

Re: Postage
In all honesty...It actually depends on how they put the invite on the weigher...
At first they told me .97 cents
and then they said if you do it this way it would be .58 cents....Thats more like it
