For the postage on your invites, do you buy pretty stamps for the exact weight or do you just let the post office put on their standard metered stamp.

It's a matter of personal preference. I bought pretty stamps, even though it put me slightly over the required amount, because I'm too Type-A to just use the metered postage.

For me, I don't care if the stamps are pretty or not. It's a personal preference. It does look nice but it may cost more.

mine were $1 on the nose so I just bought their stamps. it was easier and cheaper!

I got the cake ones that the post office has..its for 2 ounces i think..then they have wedding ring ones that are the normal 42 cents ones for the RSVP cards
