Agreed. If you can afford it go for it, but there are other things that are more important to me to spend my $$ on.

When I get an invitation I don't look at the stamp, and I can't imagine people complaining about you not using a pretty stamp!!!

i showed my mom the 'ring' stamps i bought for the thank you cards and she said 'i had no idea they even existed ... i've never looked at the stamps on an envelope' ...
i've never looked either ... and even if i DID notice, i wouldn't think any less of you if you used those machines lol

The only reason I said to buy the nice stamps is because that way you can get your envelopes hand cancelled...you have rhinestones on your invites and I'd hate to see the machine crush them or push them so that they indent on your pocketfold.

wait the wedding stamps from the post office cost more than a stamp machine? I know the pretty ones on zazzle are more but I thought the PO would be the same?

i can't use the postage machine at my job without paying for it. if it was that or buy pretty stamps, i'd buy prety stamps, because ti's the same amount of money anyway. if using the postage machine was free... i'd probably still buy the pretty stamps.

Maybe I'm the only weirdo but o do notice the stamps. My friend used the simpsons stamps bc her and her dh were huge fans.

I'm sorry I totally look at the stamps and although it is so NOT a big deal to use regular ones I would look at it and go 'Aww they didn't use pretty wedding stamps, oh well.' JMO
