So my invites are going out today, FH is supposed to drop them off to be hand cancelled. Well, he just called me from the post office and they're making him buy lil .20 cent stamps because .61 was not enough! I weighed the invites at work on our postage machine and they were only supposed to be .61 cents, so i bought the cute lil cake stamps and put them on all our invites.

This now means that my FH (who could care less) is sitting in a post office putting ugly 20 cent stamps on my pretty little envelopes!!! I can just imagine him putting them in random spots (he is so mad, he would just put them anywhere I bet)

Sorry, just had to vent!

are your invites square? bc if so, there's a .20 surcharge for square ones, which explains the increase.

No, they're in a regular sized envelope (like bday card size). I was already anxious about them going out, and now they're gonna look fugly. booo!

I weighed mine on the postage machine at work but brought it to the post office to get weighed as well because our machine is not always accurate.
