My moh really wants one there (a stripper) to entertain the guests, so that they won't be bored. Would you as a guest be offended? He'd be there for no more than 30-45 minutes. She's going to play other games too.

Also, having it served as 'buffet style'. We know people love to try different things and this way they wouldn't be bored. Is that okay, or does it have to be sit-down?

Oh she want to give goody bags filled with all kinds of stuff. She ran all this stuff by me, cause I can be a real witch when I want to be.

I just don't think the shower is the place for strippers. Think about your great aunt and grandma who might FREAK. For the bachelorette party, that would be different.
As for the buffet, that's more than fine!

I agree... I think that it would be inappropriate in a room with my grandmother, aunts, my mother and possibly flower girls.

My FMIL went to a bridal shower at someone's house where they had a stripper there for a little bit. She and the bride's mom and a few other's who were older went into the bedroom and hid while the stripper was there because they felt uncomfortable. I would not want a stripper there but if you want it I think it all depends on the crowd and how comfortable they would feel, and also where it will be.

I agree. Definitely would not have a stripper there at the bridal shower. I had to read it twice I thought it said the stripper was going to be buffet style..... hahahaa

LOL. Thanks ladies for responding. I guess that for those that want to see a stripper, will have to go to Escapes or something.

Well, how about you have your bachelorette party for your girlfriends and anyone else interested right after the shower? I've heard of girls doing that, too.

Depends on the ages of your guests at the shower and their sense of humor. If it's going to be alot of older women & family I would skip the stripper!
