Posting Pics?

With all the drama on the NW board, the bashing of a bride's wedding pictures, and the recent (adorable) pics of bluegreen on here have me wondering: how many of you girls don't post pictures of yourself/FH on here and why?

I don't post a ton of pictures of me and FH just because I'm lazy. If people figure out who I am from my posts, I really don't care because I'm pretty private with things I post. For instance, I really don't post complaints about the bridal party or family--I'm sure they'd be smart enough to figure out who I was if they were inclined to.

I also (hopefully) don't have any psycho exes who would try to crash my wedding if he found me on the boards!

same here...any of fh's ex's see us on myspace, well theres other reasons not too but i just went with one thing listed

People need to just enjoy this time in their lives!!!

I feel a little funny having my pictures floating around online. I don't know exactly why I feel this way considering I have a facebook with loads of pictures -- maybe because facebook is 'friends only' and this is open to the whole world?

I posted pictures of my dress for 10 minutes, but took that down because I want it to be a surprise and only my bridesmaids and close family have seen it. I know my mom and her friend read LIW regularly, but who knows who else?

I'm slowly becoming less paranoid (I posted my vendors, when I originally did not) but I don't know if that is a good or bad thing.

I'm much more paranoid about posting anything bashing/complaining about friends/family/FIL than pictures. It would break my heart if I posted something when I was in a bad mood and it got back to someone and ruined our relationship. Pictures, I'm less worried about.

Anyway, maybe I'm less worried about psycho LIW Brides stalking me since I live out of state!

I just started posting pics of myself recently. I'm just a shy person and it took me a while to feel comfortable doing it, since i've never been on a chat site before this one. But its nothing scandelous so why not!

I USED to post pics. I don't anymore.

Honestly, I think a big part of it has to do with my profession (education). I'm in a classroom now with very computer savvy 6th grade students who can find pictures easily with a simple google search. I just don't want pictures of me (wedding, boudoir, etc.) floating around on the internet. It recently started weirding me out.

yeah, i have a boudoir session coming up in a few weeks and i will probably post pics just for a few minutes and take them down. FH would probably be mad that i had myself exposed on the internet, even if its just my stomach....or elbow, or toe!!

Yeah, as a teacher I wouldn't want my kids coming across them...or my exes...or my family...
Those will def be for FH's eyes only

I dont really care..but sometimes I do and take them down...

I dont need people up in my business....
Especially budoir pictures..i dont know how some girls post those on here....those pictures are saved on all of our computers in our cookies...without saving the pics....w/e to each is own but for me thats a no.

I would agree with that. If I were to do B-pics, I would not be comfortable with posting them...but to each her own.
