Postponing a wedding??

Hey ladies,

Is anyone getting married this weekedn that had to postpone it?? My sister was supposed to get married Sunday Nov. 4th at Chateau Briand but they have no power & don't know when they will, so my sister had to postpone the wedding.
Anyone else going through this??? How are you handling all the changes? Are you ordering new invites? what about all the things ordered with the original wedding date?

I wouldn't order new invites. Maybe try a STD type thing to announce the change? I'm sorry I can't help elsewhere, but I would hope her vendors will do their best to accommodate her. I'm so sorry for your sister and I wish her all the best.

Postponing a wedding??

So we ended up having to postpone also as i said in my post. We are def not doing new invites, we are doing more of a save the date post card its way too much to do this all over again. Everything i have is fall themed but i refuse to change it and will have my fall wedding in a different season. I have a bunch of stuff with the wedding date....still trying to figure that one out too. Good luck to your sister!

So sorry to hear this. I have a co-worker getting married but they have generators and the wedding is still on. Can they accomodate you at a sister location or another venue?

just saw on Scotto Brothers website that Chateau Briand has power. Will your sister still be able to have her wedding?

Im so sorry to hear this.. any word from them on when you could be rescheduled for? I couldnt even imagine what you ladies are going through right now. sending hugs your way

My sister was able to reschedule for Dec 2nd, which isn't bad & thankfully all her vendors were available for that date! Even though they got power back, the food wasn't going to be delivered in time & plus with all this gas shortage there would be other issues to deal with. I guess it happened for the best.
