POTD 6/6/08

Ok so this is a SUPER random POTD. I don't know if you girls watch 'What not to wear' but I adore that show!! Carmandie, the makeup artist on that show, always says to not apply mascara to your lower lash line, just your upper lash line. Is this true? I put mascara on my lower lash EVERYDAY and I think I look retarded if I don't

For the girls who have gone for a makeup trial, did the artist put mascara on your lower lash?? Or all the girls who wear makeup do you apply mascara on your lower lash?? Super curious!!

I usually only put it on my upper unless I'm getting dressed up. Otherwise I feel like when I put it on my lower it ends up getting smudged by the end of the day.

Bobbi Brown says not to put it on the lower lashes too. She said your eyes will appear wider if you don't. I always do anyway though b/c my lashes are so light they are practically invisible if i don't have mascara on.

i always put a light coat on my lower lashes. I guess habit.

i only put it on my upper lashes. My eyes are really small so i feel mascara on top and bottom is too much, but thats just me. I know a lot of people who put it on both top and bottom, i think it's just preference.

I only put it on the upper but thats bc I dont like how it looks on my lower. I know alot of people who do upper and lower

I put it on my upper lash only. If I try the bottom it is usually a clumpy mess and I get mascara all over my face.

I just put mascara on top lashes, as it smudges and makes my under eyes black!

I just use eyeliner on my bottom and that makes my lashes seem dark without putting anything on them. I also have really long lashes, so when I have used mascara on the bottom lashes they actually look a little weird.

Same here. I put it on my upper lashes only. It tends to run and smudge if I put it on my lower lashes.

I didnt go for my trial yet but i always do both anyway. U just dont make ur bottm lashes drastic a subtle little swipe of massacara is perfect! imlucky i hae long lashes anyway but still it keeps them perfect. If your massacara is getting smudged at the bottom u may need a different type. I think ittruly is based on your hair/skin type like oily/dry etc. Imnot oily at all, maybe thats why i can wear it with no problems????
