and I want to ask my other friend to be a BM, but she is getting married in Oct and didn't ask me to be in hers... we are old high school friends that have just recently reconnected because of us both wedding planning - I think if we had started to reconnect earlier she would have asked... but I don't want to make her feel bad by asking - SO CONFLICTED!

Not sure yet, but we are keeping it small.

If you want to have her be in your BP I would just invite her anyway. If she feels bad, just explain that you understand and you're obviously not upset about it otherwise you wouldn't have invited her in to yours.
