Pottery Barn Gift Card question...

Do any of you guys know if I can buy an item off a registry with a PB Gift Card?

I have a GC and it's basically been taking up room in my wallet for almost a year. I have a bridal shower to attend and the bride2b is registered at PB.

Is it in bad taste to do this?

i think you can use the GC and i don't see how she would ever find out how you paid for it. i don't think it's in bad taste anyway. it's not like you're regifting and giving her the GC itself. I did this once at Linen's 'n things for a shower. actually it wasn't a gc i got, but i got the card when i returned something there and they gave me store credit back on a card because it was past 30 days or something.

she wouldn't know that you bought her gift on a gift card. I don't think a gift reciept would say that. I don't think it's cheesy at all! It's your money (in GC form) to spend however you would like! Personally, I couldn't spend a Pottery Barn GC fast enough!!!!
