Poughkeepsie,, and me!

Ok so I am in poughkeepsie untill 2/17 and missing my FH already.
I am coming home on Wenesday for the Villa Lombardi's showcase and going back up thursday until the following saturday (the 17th). Then I need to be home for the showcase on the 18th for the eastwind showcase ( i think we are booking there ).

I brought my envelopes for the e-party with me to address, and some magazines and books for planning...and most important my Laptop, because the hotel has WI-FI !!!

at least you have things to keep yourself busy! i always liked staying in hotels! i have only stayed in one by myself once though

This is a nice hotel. There bed is mighty comfty... wish I could get the FH here a few nights!

yeah i bet!! the time i had to stay in a hotel by myself it was a sketchy one in the middle of nowhere! i got stuck in a blizzard on the way back to college one year and that was my only choice! it was the middle of the night. I was kinda scared! but if it's a nice one, then you will be set, they prob have cable tv...maybe a pool and a jacuzzi and a fitness room! gotta love that

no hot tub, pool is outside, so it is closed! However the rest is beautiful

My FH lived around there and then moved down here 6 months ago. He lived about 20 minutes from poughkeepsie. Poughkeepsie is like the only busy area up there..lol

I went to school in Poughkeepsie, Marist College!

I travel a lot for work and unfortunately have to stay in hotels by myself often. It's strange at first, but you get used to it. And I enjoy having a king size bed to myself!!

my friend went there. i liked their campus. i went to school on the other side of the bridge...lol

Some of my family lives very close to Poughkeepsie - it's like in the middle of nowhere! At least you're getting some R&R!

Is there a maris in staten island too? My school's hockey team always lost to Marist and it was a full out battle with your school!

I'm only 45 minutes from poughkeepsie now! In connecticut, booking the inn for my wedding. I love it up here. FH and I went to Poughkeepsie 3 weeks ago, actually, and had the best time. I didn't want to come home. Seriously, every time I spend a weekend away from NYC, I'm like, 'why don't I live here?'
