My shower was today and it was wonderful. It was at Spring Lake Golf Course in Middle Island. My uncle is the catering manager there and I highly recommend it. We had a brunch and everything was delicious, plus the room was so pretty with panoramic view of the golf course.
I'm trying to download a few pics but having problems with my camera.
My mother did an amazing job. She got a cupcake cake from Jacqueline's in Babylon that was freakin' amazing...looked like little flower pots, which I guess was the theme. The favors were little pots of african violets, but she had them arranged on three tired cookie trays like the cupcakes. She told me she found the idea in Martha Stewart weddings. I loved it!!!
I got great lots of great stuff and my bridesmaids did a good job of planning, fun, not cheesy games. LOL
Here's pics. My friends will send ones with me actually in them. The flower pots one came out a little dark.
