guys i am having a rough time.... o well first it is my first time writing i have been lurking around for a while but now the questions... so i have been to east wind(country gardens) and the thatched cottage how come i got a rate of about $76 including 18% and 8.75% from east wind and $95 before the 18%,8.75,and some other 550 fee for mmgnt or some thing at the cottage? also i di like the inside of the cottage but out of all honesty the parkin lot was disturbing to me, along with the fact that there were finger prints all over the brass railing and it looked un vacuuned... am i being to picky and they will vacuune right?

I have been to both the thatched cottage and east wind country gardens. Both were very nice! IMO comparing the 2 weddings, thatched cottage was better! The place was beautifully set up that day and very clean the food was delicious. THe drinks were strong Overall I cant say anything bad about the place, And I dont remember parking being an issue that day at all. I think it was valet but I dont remember clearly.
East wind I am sure is beautiful, the grounds were, there is nothing bad I can say about East Wind, in fact I wanted to look there but just felt it was too far to go! The nice thing here and I dont know if it was extra was that they came aroudn with seconds of the entrees if you wanted more.

I think overall either place is beautiful and a good choice!

If you post this in the BHB...'Brides Helping Brides', you will get more answers. I can't help you though because I haven't been to either places. I'm actually going to a wedding at the Thatched Cottage in September but may be too late for me to let you know about it.
