pray for my fmil

we just found out yesterday that she has lyme disease. anyone know anything about it? i have not a clue

I dont know too much about it but my best friend has had it since he was about 12 or so . Its treatable he has been living a happy normal life. You can research it on www.webmd.com that might help!

So sorry to hear that, isnt lyme disease caused by a tick bite. Have your FMIL traveled recently? If treated correctly it is curable, dont worry she is will OK

so sorry to hear. my fmil is actually going through a similar thing. she was bit by a tick but its not lyme disease. she is hospitalized and not doing well!! its amazing what a f-in bug can do.

I know my brother had it when he was a kid, but it may have went away or something because I haven't heard anything about it since, so I hope it can do the same for your FMIL!

I hear if you catch it early its fine with medicine. We just found out my dog has it and I am pregnant and I am scared I have it so I am going to get me and my son checked out.

i'm sorry. my best friend in high school had that, and i used to sit w her while she got her treatments. i'm sure she will be ok and if it's the same as my friend, she won't have to get the treatments forever. i'm sure she will be ok, it's just an annoying thing to deal with.

it depends on how early it was caught and if she has any symptoms. if the tick just bit her recently than an antibiotic can take care of it and she will be fine.

I was diagnosed w/ Lyme disease last summer. I took antibiotics and I am fine. I felt bad for a couple of days like I was run-down but that was it. I hope they caught it early for her.
