Re: Pre-Cana??

Which one are you going to?

I had the Saturday all-day thing (9:00 - 4:00). There's nothing to worry about. My experience was good, they talk to you about situations that will come up in real-life (Money, Kids, Family, etc.)

There's a workbook they give you and you and your DH do some of the exercises, some of them were questions like: How well do you know each other? Do want kids, how many? Finances?, etc.

They provided lunch and after lunch was some talking and last subject was about natural BC.

Then before you leave they give you a paper (certificate) of completion and you give it to your Church.

I agree...nothing to worry about!
We actually had fun filling in those Q&A parts in the book. We laughed at how well we knew each other and at how similar our answers were. And the lunch they served us ( we went to the Douglaston Center) wasn't bad either!

That's where we had it too. I didn't like the lunch IMO.

We did the 3 night session precana at someones house. A married couple ran the meetings and it was nothing to sweat over. They basically did all the talking. We didn't have any workbooks or Q&A stuff though.
